Sometimes when I paste parts of one drawing into another drawing, it comes in differently. This morning, it came in shifted 90 degrees counterclockwise. Why does this happen, is this a problem, and is there a way to remedy it?

Thanks! (This isn't a huge problem, but you all are so smart...) :)

Is the UCS the same in both drawings?

I checked that and they both say "world." Is there a way to check for thoroughly?

Also I should mention that the thing I'm pasted comes in far from where my mouse is. In fact I find it by doing a zoom-extents, and then I move it to where I want it.

Are they both the same view (top, bottom, right, left, front, back)?
I always use copy with base point so I know where my block will be once pasted.
