AutoCAD 2006 And AutoCAD Map 3d 06

I have both AutoCAD 2006 and Map 3d 2006 on my machine. But I can't get Map 3d, It defaults to AutoCAD 2006. Does anyone know why?

Your system automatically associates .dwg files with the most recently used version of AutoCAD (Map, LDD, Civil, ect). If you want to open with a certain package, open the drawing from within the program rather than by clicking on the drawing from an explorer.
