2000- Ole' & slowdown

Number 1 - I have a project going and when I pick an object the program waits a couple of seconds before completing the selection. If I pick with a crossing window or window it takes a while before the window appears. It just started doing this. I tried purging & removed some blocks that had a lot of objects to no avail.

Number 2 - I have attempted to insert an Ole' Object into my AutoCad drawing. It is an Excel Spreadsheet. The entire spreadsheet appears except for the last column of info. I've tried repeatedly & keep getting the same thing. :oops:

There is a limitation on the size of OLE objects that results in the problem you are experiencing with Excel. This was resolved to some extent in AutoCAD 2004.

Try doing a search on "excel" and "ole" in these forums for some useful tips.
