I received this information from someone. Can anyone verify this statement about curved lines in Rhino? Thanks!

"The issue is that Rhino cannot save circles or curves as continuous arcs and polylines, it has to break it up into many small, straight lines."

?????

That's not true. If geometry is exported from Rhino via Autocad 2004 "Natural" option, it will open in Autocad as lines, arcs, circles, polylines with arcs(bulges), etc.

Here are some attachments...thanx for taking a look at these 4 me

The two files show a fairly consistant translation problem. The Rhino items that are closest to circles and arcs, produce the cleanest geometry in autocad.

The 4 smaller circular shapes have only one axis of symmetry, and even that is not exact. Are these shapes meant to be circles?

The geometry looks like a "Make2D" byproduct, which does tend to make complex curves.

For the attached DWG, I rebuilt the 6 circular and 2 elliptical shapes to Point Count 16, Degree 2. That reduces the compexity some.

Edit: Just realized that I had the "Splines" selected in the export options. I'll attach an export with just lines and arcs in another post.

The attached has polylines with arcs for all curves, and lines where applicable.
