Image plotting

My boss just sent me a file from a company that has a lot of images on it, and he wants the borders around the images not to show up when it prints. I don't remember if there's a option to turn off the image border, or a system variable? Please Help

IMAGEFRAME = 0 prevent it from showing on screen and plotting.

IMAGEFRAME = 2 will show on screen, but not plot.

Additionally i have had to turn off TRANSPARENCY before due to some of the frames ghosting on the plots. This was Acad 2006... they might have fixed it by now..
