Brown Plots Red

I am using Color 14, a brown, and it is plotting red. How do I fix this? Please help! I am using Civil 3D 2007.

Check your setting for colour 14 in your .ctb file......check the settings against another pen (colour) that is plotting correctly.....

colour 14 is a dark red to begin with (the RGB value is 153,0,0)...to my eyes colour 34 is closer to a brown without getting into the true colour pallette...
