Hey all I am trying to draw a 2D plan view of a plastic bookshelf. I need these polylines that i've drawn to all be together. Technically it would be considered closed because its a box and they're no openings, but I can not join these polylines into one object, or create it all into one region. If anyone has any suggestions I would be very happy. Take a look, thanks!

Would making it a block suit your needs?

I have to be honest but I dont really know what you mean by that, I use a addon software for AutoCAD so my general AutoCAD skills are limited. As long as the drawing is one object then that's fine. If turning it into a block would solve the trick then that will work fine. What I am doing here is creating a 2D model of my 3D shelves, then I add them to my material file on my add-on software and give it some programming to say drill holes here and place the product within a product in a specific location. Again if turning it into a block will create one 2D solid then that's the path I need to take. I figured just using PEDIT and Joining them all together logically should work, however it's not.

It sounds like it should work for you.
Try "BLOCK" and select all the lines. You can set the base point you want. It will act as a single object.

Have you tried the BOUNDARY command? This would create individual 2D closed boundaries.

THanks so much this definately did the trick. Never got a chance to try the BOUNDARY command but BLOCK worked fine. Thanks guys!
