Howdy gang-
I am using AutoCAD 2007LT on an IBM Thinkpad T60 (its a decent enough laptop...) and am getting irritated in its constant accessing of the network each time i use a function/command/etc...

There is no delay when I disable the NIC card/LAN connection...

What option do I turn off so that I can keep my sanity without disabling the NIC every time I start drawing? (I do not have a desk phone, and actually cannot get a signal to my cell phone, so I need to keep connected so that I can receive emails...)

Thanks in advance...

exactly what cad sponge said, check your firewall settings for permisions, or u can download a firewall program.

Use FileMon to track what file resources your computer is trying to access.
