Hi,
I have a drawing that has been sent to me that was converted from vector works to CAD. It keeps having a fatal error when i copy/explode blocks. Also when i xref it into my drawing and try to regenerate it the fatal error comes up as well as when i copy items. When i printed the plan the layers are all really dark. I am in the process of changing all the layers. Any suggestions to the fatal error problem?
Thanks

What you should do:

Clean up the dwgs before xref. I mean remove all the unnecessary items form the converted vector work dwgs. They always have a lot of memories coming with it when they are being converted to acad.dwg. Thus the fatal error occurs. Go easy on them.
May be you got a less memory CPU. My day to day involves converting vector works to acad.dwgs and never at any one time i came across such error occurence.

Thanks for your help. I tried purging and cleaning up the drawing by expolding blocks but some items couldn't be purged. They must have been hidden in the drawing some how. I found it quicker just to redraw over top of the plan and copy it into a new drawing.

Thanks again!
