Can some one help me with this message i get when i try to turn some lines into a polyline. I want to create polylines so i can subtract the shape. The message is OBJECT NOT PARALLEL TO UCS.Please refer to drawing.The object i want to subtract has a radius and is in the front right hand corner. THANKS HEAPS AUTOCAD 2004

The main problem that exists when you get that error is that some point or points on the lines have a "z" value other than 0. You may have FLATTEN command available.......if so, try it......

Otherwise use BOUNDARY command to get the surruond boundary I think you are after......

If you are working in 3D......then I can't help you.......

I'm really not sure what you're trying to Subtract, but I think you have a little problem here. I've taken your solid model and moved it away from your polylines and this is what you've got:
