Hi Guys

Need help with this. Quite simple really,

How do I get my template to center itself exactly on the layout space that i have chosen? I have drawn a border correctly for the page i'm using (A1) but i now want to set up this page so that my template sits exactly in the centre of the paper?

Cheers

make a border the exact size of the edge of the paper. then center your template inside this border, and use the "Window" Plot Area and select the border. This will center the layout up to your template, insdead of the other way around. :)

Styk is pretty much there.
once you have drawn the border to the exact size of the sheet of paper you wish to use, move the bottom left corner of the border to co-ordinates 0,0,0.
i prefer to use plot extents, rather than plotting to window.

horses for courses, etc

Yeah cheers for that, i actually just get my titleblock centered then i save this template as it is, so all the time, i just use extents as usual. Its only when i mess it up that i need to use the plot to window and center feature just for getting back to the centre location of the page. :D
