I'm currently building myself a new PC and yesterday my new monitor was delivered. For the last 3 years, I've been using a 17" LCD which has been fine but as I'm doing more and more graphics work, I decided to go for the largest format monitor I could afford.
I got a BenQ FP241W 24". Native resolution is 1920x1200 with 1:1000 contrast and 500cd brightness. OK, those are the numbers but...
 WOW! is it good.
Image quality is fantastic, I'm seeing things I never saw before, all those graphic nuances are revealed. So, first impressions are very good. My only slight niggle is that the colours are a little muted for my taste but certainly nothing to worry about. I don't see any dead pixels.
This monitor has been around for less than a year but the price has dropped considerably since the launch. If you're looking for a bigger monitor, I thoroughly recommend this.
