I'm using AutoCAD 2002.

In Options > Display > Text lines in command line window

no matter what value I put, the value defaults back to "1" when I start a new AutoCAD session.

That is, "text lines" isn't sticking, although other values in options do.

I even tried reinstalling, no dice.

Any ideas?

Can you stretch it by holding your cursor over the edge of the window and dragging it up?

That looks promising! Thanks!

Can't wait to hack the registry tomorrow.

Incredibly, the above hint did not work, for any of the profiles I hacked, but I seem to have got <<unamed profile>> back. Maybe I'll make a new one from that and see if it sticks.

Thanks for the help.

If that doesn't work, you may need to do a COMPLETE uninstall and then a reinstall.
