Can any one help

the msg above apears when autocad starts.

i have tried reinstalling. repairing it & the same msg appears.

if i click yes, it starts and i can use a few simple commands like line, arc etc but if i tyr to use layer manager or customize etc it crashes & this msg appears

AutoCAD Error Aborting
Fatal Error: unhandled eo434f4dh Exception @ 7c812a5bh

then i click ok & acad closes.

Our IT people are useless & i have tried contacting Autodesk buyt their help line seems constantly engaged?

has any one had this problem & how do you solve it. I have searched Autodesk forums & found a few discussions regarding this issue. One references .dll file. I have downloaded an up to date version of this but the problem still exists.

It also reference framework.net as being a possible culprit & have tried removing then & reinstalling the latest update but after uninstalling framework.net 3 it doesnt let me uninstall framework.net 2. There is then framework.net 1 to uninstal & then download the latest version after that. the fact that i cant uninstall it almost confirms to me microsoft is the culprit but if iu cant uninstal it how can i get around it???

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

cheers!

Did you try contacting the people you bought the autocad from? They should provide some support with the sell, especially help with install.

I've spoke to our IT people & they say we own the licences so we need to speak to autodesk ourself. They have sent an email to autodesk but thats all they are prepared to do about it. I feel really let down by them to be honest they are meant to provide support but are not interested. Anyway I still need to fix this so I will continue to try to contact Autodesk until I have another option.

I have just tried to instal acad SP 1. It said that I the file is either not on the computer or i have the wrong acad version. it is 2006 i have but it is light, i guess this must be the sp for the full version?

Try this....seems like Framework could be the problem.

Thanks everyone,

I spend all day on this & what seemed to fix it was loading from the original microsoft disc as opposed to downloading updates?? I then reinstalled Acad & its working fine now! bloody nusiance i tell you tho!

Good thing was my boss wasnt pleased the IT people didnt suggest this in the first place! hehe!
