... when sketchup always seems to want to do 2 point perspective, and pushing and pulling the perspective lines until they almost work causes the whole thing to suddenly flip about on the wrong axis

I hate sketchup - I want my beloved AutoCAD back

The neighbours have decided they want a conservatory, and haven't been polite enough to mention it, we've heard it from the council via the statutory notice :glare:

The god awful drawings submitted by the conservatory company bear NO resemblance to the site at all, so the council will be getting a photo with the monstrosity overlaid on it so they can see how bloody awful it's going to look from this side of the fence

I think I'll be starting with showing the neighbours.... something tells me they ain't exactly brilliant at visualising stuff themselves :? From what I've managed to cobble together so far, and having seen how dreadful this thing is going to look (nothing like the conservatory company drawings of course), I'm hoping they alter their plans somewhat *crosses fingers*

sorry about the ramble, but if anybody is an expert in photomatch I'd really appreciate some pointers :)

Not really an expert on this but I have played with it a time or two. Have you watched the videos on it from the SU website?

Yeah I learned from the SU videos. They make it look pretty straight forward. I have one somewhere I started with it that I'll have to share...when I find it.

Damn, I was worried that that would be the answer :(

I faffed through the first tutorial but got incredibly bored and impatient with the pace of the whole thing
