Needing to know if there is a way to have a pop up window pop up when a drawing is being saved after said drawing has been modified or updated...asking for the modifications to be added to the word document displayed in the drawing...thanks for any help in advance! We are Using Autocad 2007

I suppose you could use a LISP routine that takes the place of the normal "Save" command that would remind the user to make the necessary modifications. Maybe it could even retrieve the document for the user?

See example drawing - try to change something and then save.

You may also utilize this system variable:

DBMOD

"Indicates the drawing modification status using bitcode. The value is the sum of the following:

1 Object database modified
4 Database variable modified
8 Window modified
16 View modified
32 Field modified

AutoCAD resets the DBMOD value to 0 when you save the drawing."
