Subject: Is there a way that I can convert text to mtext and have both widths & height factors match? AutoCAD version 2007.

Sometimes I need to convert text to Mtext in my drawings. I do that by
using pull down menu express-text-Convert text to mtext in autocad.
That proceedure works but the width factor is off with my resulting
mtext. I try to correct the width factor of my coverted mtext to match the
orginal text but the mtext editor refuses to change the width factor.
Is there a way that I can convert text to mtext and have width
& height factors match?

thank you,

After converting from text to mtext from that express tool, how about matching the properties as per original text.
