Single line text export to .csv

I know this will be simple for you guys, and has probably been asked before. I'm a surveyor and not a CADD expert. We were given some drawings with tables containing many lines of single-line text. I would like to get these into a format such as .csv that I can open with Excel. Thanks in advance if anyone has advice on this.
