Map 2005:

when trying plot, i goto pull a .CTB file from the list and noticed that there are no .ctb files there. I checked pathing and checked for duplicate folders but still not found. the funny thing is that if i open the directory that contains them then they are there, but Autocad doesn't see the .CTBs. It Sees the .STBs fine. I even deleted a .stb file and relaunched map. The file I deleted was in deed gone from the list, so know I'm pathed correctly.

My Question is; why will it not show any .CTB files? In LD 2k5 everything works fine but in Map 2k5 its all jacked up.

Please, someone help me with this.

Try Convertpstyles to convert the drawing file from stb to ctb.

That worked. thanks again. Old legacy drawings suck.

Just a note:
I have to use the _convertpstyles many times and not because the architects with whom I work are from old school.
The choice of plot style is a matter of preferences. Some people like the color dependent styles and other the named plot styles.
I prefer CBT, but for some kind of drawings I switched to STB because it was much better for what I had to do

my company (public utility) uses color dependent as a way of standardizing our requirements. Really the only reason we do it.
