Express Tools in Building Systems 2006

Express Tools can be loaded now during installation of CAD, but our software comes from a network which automatically runs the install when you click on it. Seperately on our marketplace, we can get 'express tools for acad 1.9 (2004)'. Upon downloading both and typing 'expresstools' in the command line I get prompted with 'menu not found'.

Is there a newer version? Can I only get it if I can check the box during setup? I can't solve this one.

Do you have a folder called "Express"? Should be in the main folder maybe.

If you can navigate to the folder where you install from, there used to be a setup program in a sub directory ("Image?)" that would run with options (Client.exe?)

Acetmain.cui is the express tools menu, so I loaded the pulldown menu using the 'cui' command. The symbols have ? marks next to them, but the commands work, that'll do me. Cheers.

Did you try this to get rid of the Question marks?

After the Express Tools installation, the question mark icons may remain on the toolbar. The acetmain.mnr file is responsible for the bitmaps of the toolbars. To remove the question mark icons delete the acetmain.mnr file. The next time you launch the application, the icons will be recompiled and they will appear correctly on the toolbar.

I tried, but I only have acetmain.cui and acetmain.mnl definetely no .mnr. I tried moving the .mnl fine to a different drive and restarting the application, but no luck.

Did you have the search path to the folder where acetmain is located? Take a look at Options / Files / Support file search path.

nope. It's no big deal though tbh, I only use a couple of the functions from the express tools menu anyway.

I use the pulldown and command line for most of the Express tools I use.

It seems to be once in a blue moon I'm using AutoCAD at the moment, never mind express tools.
