Chat posts not included in post count

This is a heads up notification of a change in the way member post counts are calculated.

From early next week, the forum settings will be changed so that posts made in the Chat forum will not count towards your post count total. Many of you will find that your post count goes down.

This is a change that has been suggested and agreed by the members of this forum.

Does this mean that chat posts will be retroactively subtracted from your current total, or does it just mean that people won't be seeing their post counts increase as a result of chatting? :unsure:

OK, the deed is done. Most regular users will discover that their post count has gone down and that their title has changed accordingly.

Just to clarify: from this time onwards, posts made in any of the Community forums will not count towards a members total post count.
