I installed Maya PLE a while back and have never used it due to being really busy over the last few months. Its only a 30 day liscense,if I reinstall it, could I run it again?I fear I cant as it will leave trails in my registry.Im not intending to use it beyond its liscense as I havent even opened the program.

You can register it and have it forever.

Just in case you all were wondering - don't try this at home kids :!:

Hypo, as far as I am aware, the Maya PLE is just that. If you register it, you can use it for as long as you like. Obviously it's save dissabled but you can use it to learn. Shame that Autodesk don't have a similar scheme for AutoCAD.

I am pretty sure that you can save in Maya PLE but it is a special file format. Just like in the game edition of Max - Gmax. There are probably ways around this as well. I have found a way to render files from Gmax ;) so anything is possible.
