Has any one used the Ramsey/Sleeper "Architectural Graphic Standard" CD-ROM? It looks like a good source to pull details that are actually correct and use them on your drawings. That being said I don't want to try and sell my boss on it and then find out that it sucks $375.00 later.

If the details are as good as they are in the book then it will not be a waste of money. And no one says you can't modify them to suit. Architectural Graphics Standards has been on my personal bookshelf for several years. It is always the first place I look when I'm in need of a good architectural detail.

Then you might want to take a look at the CD also. As far as I can tell, you can pull the details from the disk in dwg format to use in your drawings. Our CAD standards are set based on NCS, so I suspect that the details on the CD will easily incorporated into our drawings. With it costing $375 out office only needs to save 10 or 15 hours on a project before we hit our return on investment. I thing that has me worried is that if it was such a no-brainer, then why don't we already have this in place? That is why I am looking to you guys for advice.

Maybe there are some restrictions regarding the use of the software?
