Add a table

I need help to add a qty that in a table that is associative to the assembly. I would like it to retrieve the qty just like the part list does.

Not sure I understand? are we talking about a transfer to Excel or something like that or another table in the .idw?

What version of inventor are you using?

Well I am making a table in an .dwg. I got it to be almost all acciative with the iassembly table but i cant get a the qty of the parts in the assembly to show without manually putting it in. I am using Inventor 2008.

does the name of the part have a number at the end or are they all the same? for instance do you have a mm1, mm2 and mm3 which are all the same part? and in the parts list or bill of materials you can actually go into the properties of that list and add things you would like I believe that one is a standard in the list already you just need to add it to your particular list.
