This is sort of hard to describe but sometimes when I paste information (blocks, etc.) into another drawing, the information appears squished down to skinny horizontal line. Does this sound at all familiar to anyone? :?

Can you shed some light on this issue??

Are the scale of both drawings the same??

ie. One is Metric the other is Imperial?

I don't know if they are the same - I didn't create them. How do I tell?

in your command line type "UNITS"

and the first drop downmenu will say either Metric or Imperial

FYI, turns out I was in a Z-X axis instead of X-Y. That was my issue!
