Little Bandit Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 At the moment I draw loads and loads of staircases and balustrading stuff. It really drives me mad as the staircases dims come from surveys, each staircase is different ( flight's angles, wreaths, fixing positions...) Are you aware of any kind of software that would make my life a little bit easier? I've already made quite a few blocks that speed up my work a lot but still, I'm miles behind the schedule:bloodshot: Quote
Thaumaturge Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 AutoPLANT Structural Modeler will do this for you. I remember checking this out when carrying out an evaluation of Autoplant a while ago. If you do a google search you will probably find others. Quote

Arden-Stairs Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 You might consider Autodesk Inventor for getting design reuse in stairs. Our stairs are all a bit unique, so we don't get to re-use that much info yet, but we're getting there. Also, you might be interested in a case-study walk-through on stair modeling in inventor that I'm writing. I'm up to the third installment right now. You can find it by doing a google search on 'Feature staircase design in Autodesk Inventor'. best regards, Matt Quote
