One of our clients has sent us a file drawn with (visio), I don't know anything about this software or how to open it, we don't have it here, but we have only AutoCad here, is there a way to open it?
Is there a way to download it from the interent? or at least a viewer for it?
Thanks

To convert from Visio to AutoCAD you have to have Visio Technical (or maybe professional) to save as a .dwg file. Ask your client to export the file to a .dwg, you will need to do some scaling on it when you get it though. I transfer Visio file every now and then. I do office furniture once in a while and my furniture supplier's database is in Visio so I have a little experience with it. I have to scale mine up by 12 for some reason, even though both are set for feet and inches :? Check with Microsoft and see if they have a 30 day demo for download. ;)

Not sure if the professional version can do .dwg though :? But seeing as they only have standard and professional then it might be worth a download. Good luck.
