I started designing the car in the middle of the last school year when Auto Cad 2002 was the only available 3d modeling program, many tasks seemed hard to do for what was being accomplished, this year we have Auto Cad 2005 and 3 d Studio Max 6 available to us thanks to my mechanical drafting teacher at YCST. The only problem is nobody knows how to use it.. My drafting teacher is currently taking courses for Cad 05 and hopes to find classes for Max 6 at a later time.. I have been reading the Max 6 Bible and trying to go through some of the easier tutorials.. Not having much luck learning how to use it comfortably yet. My other problem is not many of the tutorials available relate to the functions needed to design the car, but i would at least like to render it on Max 6 to fully bring out its detail

What do I need one? I haven't tried BabelFish (or whatever it is called but it should work).
