Has anyone else used rhinoceros 3.0? A friend of mine told me to get rhinoceros 3.0 to facilate the process of designing my car. He feels Rhinoceros has much more user friendly commands for 3d modeling. If so i have not found them.. What i have found it useful for though is joining lines in different planes. A task pedit will not do in Autocad. Another trick i have learned is how to easily subtract shapes form mesh. Well not exactly.. this is how it is done draw the outline for the mesh with half of the shapes you want inside of the mesh on one of the edges (the top half of the shape or the bottom half of the shape) and draw the other mesh with the other half of the shape and place the meshes side by side now i realize the mesh you wanted in one piece is in two pieces now but save it and open it in rhinoceros and join the two meshes.
(it doesnt matter how many different meshes you have to draw in autocad and piece together to get the shape you want subtracted because you can join them all in rhinoceros along with polylines)
