toolbars

I have been working in AutoCad LT for several years and as of April of this year joined a new firm who uses Architectural desktop version 2005. I like to use toolbars that I post either at the top or sides of my working area. The toolbars are existing ones that are provided or some some custom ones I create. My problem is that in Desktop I try to dock the toobars in the location that I like it in but some of them will not stay in the desired location when I shut down the program one day and start in the next morning. I have tried the suggestions that I have found but thus far none have solved my problem. Can anyone assisme with this problem. There must be a solution out there.

If the prog doesn't shut down properly then any customisation you've done to the toolbars is generally lost... also I've experienced problems like this if I've tried to import a profile from an earlier version of AutoCAD. The only other thing I can think of is if you haven't been given sufficient privileges on your machine to write your changes to the drive.
