I am using Qleaders for arrows to go to my text (obviously)
Now i have just upgraded to autoCAD 2008 and it seems that now, randomly (well randomly so far.. its proberly for a reason) where the line squares up to the text, that line keeps disapearing? does anyone know why this is? This doesnt happen on every arrown though... only certain ones?
Please Help. Thanks in advance.

Did you try Dimensions / Leaders / Settings? Leader line & arrow; number of points is what I think you might be looking for.

Are you sure you are useing Qleader (type LE) or have you tried the new MultiLeader?

does it do it for a reason such as getting stroppy with the angle it's drawn at or for the distance from the arrowhead being too short?

Maybe you should post a DWG, so that we might better understand your problem.

oooo - I've had tht before - in LT98
dunno if this'll cure it, but try DIMTAD = 0
I'm pretty certain it's an angle issue you've got there - though at the flex point between having the tail and not you can't tell that's the problem coz the angle changes at the time it switches (if that makes sense)

I would try checking SETTINGS as mentioned by ReMark.

its still doing it, its very strange.. .
Multileader looks good though i think i will start using them.. saves a bit of time...
Can someone tell me how to change the command for them though... mleader is a bit long... is there a way to do it in CUI?

I've ran into this problem before, and I solved it by gripping the text and moving it down. This caused the leader line to return, looking like yours on the right side. I hope this will help.8)

You should have a Multileader toolbar.

You can edit the file acad.pgp and make LE mean multilieader.
There is also something called "Alias editor", in the Express menu, I think.

You can go to Tools>Customize>Edit Program Parameters (acad.pgp) to make Keyboard shortcuts.
