Hi,
Can somebody help me?
I'm trying to select one type of layer , by color, I'm doing all the steps like in Help, at least I think I'm doing all the steps, but at the end nothing is selected. I'm missing something, and I don't know what, can somebody help me?
Thank you

Could you explain further what you mean by "select one type of layer" What steps are you following?

Are you trying to use Qselect or Fields?

I'm trying to select actually more then one layer, and the layers what I need are on one color, let say RED, I'm using Qselect command and when I'm choosing the color and press OK nothing is selected.
Can I do a selection like that ?

Sorry, we cross posted.
The red objects have color = ByLayer,
they are on a red layer, but their color property is not red.
Thats my guess.

You can do it several times,
"add to selection set" is one option.

Yeah that happens a lot, even if they're red it doesn't mean that they're under the color red, b/c the system takes them as "by layer" as Raggi well stated.
Haven't used filters before but people say it's easier than QS, perhaps Alan or somebody else can say more about filters.

I put entire drawing.
Is not possible to select them after color, if the layers have the own colors from the layer properties manager?

If you want to try using FILTER, follow these steps:
3063
So you would enter the command, then type 'FILTER , then continue on with the command once the selection set has been created.
