Is there anyone who can convert an autocad 2007 file to a 2000 file for me??? I have a huge project and I forgot to save it correctly when I was done working at school and now I cant open it to work on it. Anybody, please???

Probably the simplest thing to do is to Download DWG True View from the AutoCAD web site (freebie). You can then convert the drawing yourself :D

This program once installed in AutoCAd will open any file format from any AutoCAD (back to R14 I think)

I agree, the DwgGateway is the most convenient solution.

Personally, I don't recommend using it. I had a bad experience with it when I tried, but you can give it a whirl if you like.

My boss had some problems using DWGGateway as well :?, but it worked great for me when I was running 2000i, I would definitely recommend using it. The only real quirk I found was I needed to start AutoCAD from the desktop to get it to work, if I started AutoCAD by opening a drawing from explorer it was a little hit and miss on working.
