View Full Version : Problem with AutoCAD 2007 - Freezing half the screen?!?!

When i open AutoCAD 2007 now i keep getting this message;
Fail to create CommCntrClientSink object
I click o.k. It then loads up bit over half the model space is usable, the top half is frozen. Anyone have any idea?

Mmmmm, looks like you will have to re-install the program:

Another solution would be to try to reapir with the installation disck. Don't forget to desable your antivirus when installing or repairing Autocad

Thank you very much, thats exactly what i did, a third party registry clean! Won't be doing that again! Thanks

You are welcome.
Cleaning registry is sometimes usefull, but always dangerous. If you don't want to reinstall your registry cleaner should allow you to restore the registry as it was before the operation (usually they bakup the file before to modify)
