lineweight changes when plotting to PDF file

i use autocad 2007. when i plot a drawing to a pdf file, the lineweight seems to get thicker, even though my lineweight in the drawing is set to very low, like 0.13mm. why is that the case? when i print straight off autocad, the lineweight is correct, but when i export to a pdf file and print it off from there, the lineweight becomes thicker. thanks.

what size are you plotting the pdf to?

try the 'scale lineweight' commands in the plot box

The Problem lies in the AutoCAD PDF maker, as I have also had this problem, for 2007 that is, I have checked out the problem, and even Autodesk suggests that you use 3rd party PDF makers to make PDF, since they have 2008 out, they could care less about fixing 2007.
