I was looking to find a good book with a lot of illustrations and explanations of 3D with autocad 2002.
I found many but very hard to choose the best. Unfortunatelly, I am not able to look inside the book to see how relates with my understanding.
From your experience can anyone recommend some titles and why do you think it is a good learning book?
As always I appreciate your taken time to answer.

I must admit I haven't come across a really good book on 3D for AutoCAD 2002. That's not to say there isn't one out there.
There is a good book for AutoCAD 2000 called "AutoCAD 2000 3D" by Brian Matthews and published by Coriolis.
This book covers all the essential stuff, UCS, Surfaces, Solids, Rendering, Materials. It's not perfect. I would like to see more detail in some sections but it is the best one I have seen.

Every command and solid/surface 'tool' is explained really well
within the help files and 'Learning Assistance cd', including videos.
That's how I learnt 3D.
I am currently writing a book on 3D Autocad, about 100ish pages
done. By the summer, too late for you maybe, I'll send you a pdf version for free !
Any specific questions, post away !

I thank you to Mr. T for the kindness and would be happy to have a copy of your book. A younger familly member will start the school next month and 3D book will do good by summer time.
I was thinking about tutorials in step by step methode.
I am in trouble again with extruding command this time extruding faces. Would do great a tutorial where is showen the difference between the two commands and how do they work.
So far I am still struggling with 2 boxes and a curve between them to make extruding faces.
I will submit the question in the section where belongs.
Mr. T
thank you

I would happely post a print screan if I knew how to do it. That would give more understanding to the question and maybe other will have something to learn from it.
How to submit a prt. scr. here?

To attach an image -
Hit PRINTSCREEN on your keyboard when the image is onscreen.
Then attach it to an email to me info@cadteaching.com

You can do like Mr.T says or look in the Web hosts section and then under free web hosting. Sign up for a free website and post your image there and link back here. Like my Avatar, it is a image on my web site linked here. When my web server goes down I loose my avatar till it comes back up. It is the same with pictures here. I beleive it is called "leeching" (is this right web guys?). E-mail a screen pic as well (f700es@yadtel.net) and between T and myself we might get an answer (T seems pretty knowledgeable from his posts).

SPONGER - one who links to image files on others web sites :D
This issue of posting image files is problematic. I have received many requests for information from users and I've decided to do something about it.
First of all, I,ve put a mini tutorial on the forum here www.cadtutor.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=887#887 and that should solve any immediate problems. However, I'm also thinking to the future and so I've just registered a new domain and I will use this to allow forum users to upload images for use on the forum and to create personal portfolios. This is still an idea  right now so don't hold your breath but it will happen.
