I would like to make a simple animation of a motor and gear.
Is there a simple way to assign a part to continuously rotate at a given speed?
I am currently using Inventor 2008.
Thank you,
Brian

Add an angle constraint. RMB on the constraint and select Drive Constraint.
If you can't figure it out zip and atttach the files.
If you happen to have Inventor Pro there are more options under Dynamic Simulation.

Dynamic Simulation.
Yep and if you do have Dynamic Simulation I may be able to help you as I have a training course this Thursday to teach me how to use it:wink:

Good luck with that. I spent a 5 month sabbatical trying to teach myself how to use Dynamic Simulation and I'm just starting to understand a little bit of it.

This is reminding me of the days back in inventor 7 pro when tube and pipe made an intro, I sat a day course on tube and pipe (£700) left with nothing more than brain mash!!!
