If you are currently attending school and have a school email address then you should check out the Autodesk student community. The main resource is the ability to download full versions of all Autodesk software. What makes these versions "student" is the fact that they expire every year and need to be resubmitted. However it will not print the student watermark or banners when you print drawings from these versions. If you don't have a school email address you can get the program approved by the dean of your school or an instructor which will allow you to register any email address. Additionally the site has great networking resources for students and professionals alike.

Yep, the Autodesk Student Community is great for students and faculty. I've been a member since the start and it has made a massive difference to my students now that they can download AutoCAD for free.
