I made a model in Solidworks, saved the file as an sldprt, and later on I saved that same file as an IGES file so that I could import it into Rhino. When I went to convert the IGES file back to a Solidworks file , all the steps of my design tree were gone, replaced by the word "Imported". How do I get my design tree steps back so that I can make a change?
Thanking you in advance,
reggy

You saved it as a IGES in doing so solidworks created a solid with no history, IV as a program called Feature Recognition this will turn the IGES into a editable Solid, I am sure Solidworks has something like this.
