How do I view linetypes scale in my plot preview? It's quite frustrating to plot the drawing and realise your linetypes are too thin or too thick! :?

In print preview you may zoom in exactly as in other windows. If you are close enough, the lines will appear with different thickness.
P.S.
I am using AutoCAD 2000

my drawings are normally tents. 20' x 20', 30' x 30', 120' x 250'. usually 1/8 scale or 1/16 scale. In model space, I use the command LTSCALE and go up to 24. In paper space, on an 11 x 17 page format, I use .2
That is assuming you work on model, and print on paper space.
I use Archtiectural Desktop 2.0

type PSLTSCALE and change it to 0, you won't have to change your linetype scale every time you go into paper space

Well spotted Andy. I think a lot folk here could checkout the
'System variables'
in help. It's amazing how many things can be tweaked !
