:? I am trying to import some labels onto an AutoCAD 200i. I have made the labels up in Windows XP Professional and I have tried to import them by highlighting the label box going through import management, highlighting label and placing them onto my CAD layer.
On the screen all looks fine but when I go to burn a CD the labels do not appear on the layer, all that appears is the save document file name.
Can anyone tell me why the labels do not appear on the CD?

AutoCAD is expecting a path to be able to get to the image. If it can't find it, then only the image name is shown where the image should be. :)

Ok - how did you get "image" out of "label"? :-)

Supposition on my part, that when an image can not be found through its original path, the image name is substituted.
Also a feeling that not everyone knows the correct words for happenings, and sometimes a shot in the dark strikes lucky. :D

I guess after reading it - it makes sense. I would have never figured that out :D

Sorry, I didnt make myself very clear. What I have done is try to import a company logo using image management which I believe is a Raster image. Is there a better way of doing this?

I would consider importing the image into a blank drawing and tracing over it to make a DWG file out of your logo. Also, if it contains TEXT - don't use text, just trace over it with lines + arcs.
