i want to xplode the blocks with defination, as per the example attached,
actually its from a part of dwg. i want to explode it in place in same dwg.
if i go through block edit and copy and paste objects from this window, i have to adjust the scale and rotation to the parent dwgs. as that block must be scaled to match the requirement.

Have you tried the "Explode Attributes to Text" in the Express menu under Blocks? Maybe that is what you are looking for...

First attempt, AutoCAD was unable to explode. I guessed that was because the x-y-z scales were not uniform. Edit the block ("properties"), give it the same x-y-z scale (can match existing to a few decimal places) After that, block could be exploded.

it partly worked to match the all scales to 1 and it got exploded one step, as u see that this blok is comprising many blocks, so firts got xploded , but not further small block are able to get explode, and its restriction that after scaling to one i will have to rescale it as it was agin after explosion.
thanx dude, explode attribute to text doesnt worked.

In my attempt, I reset the x-y-z scales to 1.0928 to closely match the original. It then exploded to other blocks as you noted. I was able to explode those blocks also, using both AutoCAD & Intellicad.

These blocks bheave in a strange way. It needed a little bit worck with the block editor to get them exploded.
Where they created with another software?

after touching to scale factor i can go up to steps, but u will find door blocks and right side lift block cant get exploded further.

yes i could able to copy paste from block edit window, but i want it like in place only.

I would do like this:
open original drawing, change the scale to the block *E7 to x=1 y=1 z=1 in properties window and then explode it.
then purge all and save your drawing as an Autocad R12 DXF.
Close it and open it again. Now you can explode all the blocks and save it again as a DWG file

ok, but is it not easy , go block edit on right click, then just cntrl c and contrl v, in your original dwg. it comes as asme what u did in long way.

???? Before you posted a message telling that my method is too long (I don't think so, because you sshould bedit and copy&paste more blocks an some will have to be rotated)
Now you are saying thanks in a funny way considering my age and gender
Are you confused

:( sorry dont get it in wrong way,
age and gender are different issues and flirt than this technical issues, i never mix them, and dont u also.
yes u r right in one way, if i have to edit multiple blocks at same time. i never thinked in that way to edit multiple block at same time, so now i can edit complete dwg with all blocks together in one dwgs in one go, right???
