How I can erase one of the line that is on the same line with same layer? I would like to choose all lines like that with the same layer? is there a property to perform this job in AUTOCAD?

I didn't even know that existed...
It's not in HELP?

I know, I couldn't find it in mine either...but if I type it, it works...it removes all excess lines.

Nice to know. How did you find it?

Autocad MAP has a drawing cleanup utility that does that and more. But it's nice to have an option for vanilla cad users also.

Does this command work for AUTOCAD 2008 LT?

have no idea if it works for LT - do a search on this site to find out more about it - I found it here in a thread about something completely different probably :)

OVERKILL is in the Express Tools so it doesn't appear in the guide online and it doesn't exist in LT (well, I'm not that sure but usually ET are in lisp and are not supported by LT)

It is an Express tool and not available in LT. Express>Modify>Delete duplicate objects or Overkill on the commandline.

If you will search on here you may find an alternate solution, this question comes up every so often.
