I'm currently a Engineer and I'm changing careers, to enter the world of CAD.Any knowledge or info I can gain is vital to me.I'm hungry for knowledge! Does any one know of free CAD magazines I can attain in the UK?Or even ones that I can purchase. There are 3D mags out there, but they have very little 2D cad in.Many thanks to those who keep this website going :)

Try CADUser Magazine, www.caduser.com/. It's based in the UK and if you register for free here, www.caduser.com/Subscribe/default.htm you'll get the next 3 issues free and then occasional free issues after that. You can also pay for a subscription that will guarantee you get every copy.

Yeh, send me an email,as I can't find your email address and I'll see what I can do.Most of the drawings I've done are 2D though, such as schematics and services layouts, not as impressive as 3D but I'm getting there, starting to get to grips with some 3D in CAD 2000.Was that your own website?Looks pretty smart, loads of features! :)

Add to this Excitech Design Productivity Journal.Has lots of interesting reviews and ,not just a sale driven glossy thin CAD mag.

Try Cadalyst? I think they've got a free online (PDF) edition, you might have to pay for the print version.
