i thought i would share my experiences with Revit compared to using Autocad to draw up an existing house and add an extension.
Well what can i say, Revit is simply amazing! The time i have saved is beyond belief.
This drawing has taken me around 3 1/2 -4 hours to do(this is my first go at using revit to, so a lot was hmmm how do i do this). I also have the window schedule and door schedule ready, all i have to do is insert the table.
Obviously some of it needs tweaking (ie some of the window and door patterns) and it may look a little unorganized as im still getting familar with Revit, but i know it would of taken a hell of a lot longer to draw in autocad.
