Aside from osnap, what are some good ways to quickly select a specific snap? I've thought of binding mouse 4 and 5, but that's only 2. I use pretty much every snap under the sun and shift+right clicking for a menu just doesn't seem efficient enough.

Ive tried it every way I could think of, I like the drop down menu, though i have it set to my middle button, second for me would be the toolbar if I had to. I have some lisps that set the Osnaps so to reset them I have a button set to osmode 35 to reset it. All in what your used to though I'm sure everyone does it different, I just hate typing them in...

I use the F keys for most of the osnaps I need. Been using them long enough I don't look down for most of them. I can't stand to use running osnaps as a general rule.

Set all your osnaps and cycle through them quickly with the TAB.

I have to agree with rkent, assign the osnaps to function keys. Most of us work with our left hand on the keyboard typing in keyboard shortcuts, so hitting a function key for a particular osnap is as fast as you are ever going to get.

I customized my autocad to use keyboard shortcuts.
I find it's the fastest way and i keep my osnaps endpoint midpoint center nod and intersertion active. they dont interfer with each other

I keep mid and end active all the time, but use a customised toolbar in the middle of the top right of my drawing area for useful buttons - I add other osnaps in temporarily as and when needed, or use the tab if I have to have them all on at once - you quickly get used to how many hits you need for each one, and the debate is usually restricted to 3 tab hits anyway - as it knows you're on a circle or a line in the first place
