Hi guys, I have a quick question for you about opening files.
1. one of the workers at my office has been using 2000 for a while and just upgraded to 2006. he likes to have 2 autocads open at a time i he is copying from one set of drawings to another. when he was using 2000 in the first one, if he opened a file in "woodland" than that autocad would always go back to "woodland" if he were to open a new drawing and on his other autocad if he were to open "foxland" it would do the same and only open the files in "foxland." in 2006 if you try to have to different open if you were to open both again it reverts to which one was picked last on either of the programs as they are not independant in that respect. it just wastes time if on one you only want to load files from "foxland" yet because you opened "woodland" on the other when you open it starts with "woodland" also. if that makes sence.
thanks,
alex
