i did a search and found some one on here mention they use it. i am in the market for a laptop. the one i found uses a NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS. being the person in the post list that they use it. i did not find it listed in the auto desk list of card.

i was wondering if there are any problems i may run into using this card

I wouldn't stray too far after the post by CADTutor himself...

If you're thinking of upgrading your graphics card or buying a new workstation, make sure you check the Autodesk Graphics Hardware List (http://www.autodesk.com/autocad-graphicscard) for supported graphics cards. I recently bought a card that wasn't supported and although it works fine with every other application, AutoCAD just doesn't play ball when things get complicated in 3D. I'll be checking this list in future...

If I remember that thread correctly, wasn't the user of said graphics card having some graphics related problems? If it is not on the list do not get it.
