I have been elected to be be the first in our office to use Revit in a design charrette. Has any one here used Revit in a design charrette? Any pointers?

Damn my limited vocabulary. Define Charrette. We are switching to revit here in a week or two. Looks like fun!!! but I still say death to the Autodesk monopoly!

A design charrette is basically at an early phase of a project where the preliminary design is being hammered out. My roll as the drafter will be to sit in a room full of architects and engineers, some that work for the company that I am with and some that are with the Army Corp of Engineers, and I get to draw the stuff they tell me too. Just to make sure that the picture is clear.... They all sit round me and tell me "move that wall over there" "now do this... now that..." and at the end of the day when my drawing are a mess, I then go to my hotel room and clean them up, draw some elevations and section cuts, and then sleep for a couple of hours and then do it again. That goes on for about 3 days.

Ah yes, I have used Sketchup in a similar manner. How big is the project? I'm sure if you are skilled enough at Revit, you will impress them.
