search will not work for me

i searched for the keyword pdf and found nothing.
i would figure the word pdf would give me nothing short of a scrillion threads.
am i doing something wrong?

I have to admit, I am not having much luck lately with simple search terms. That's why I get Tiger to do my searches for me. :(

The best strategy when searching for 3 character strings is to add the wildcard character. So, to search for threads including the string pdf, use the search string pdf*.

I wanna know why I can''t do a search as effectively as Tiger can!! Am I stupid? I just can't, for some reason.
